I have been itching to watch Blue Thunder (which we just bought recently). He was very good, though his achievements got obscured in his later years due to a series of skirmishes with the law.

I hope to see more of his TV and movie work in the future. Maybe Cool Million or The Bold Ones will get the DVD treatment someday, too.

Good post, Amanda!R.A.M.'67https://www.blogger.com/profile/12817535165296807817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108598388162294499.post-9638347001287276362012-01-29T17:09:01.296-05:002012-01-29T17:09:01.296-05:00the background image when he appeared on the credi...the background image when he appeared on the credits of Dinasty (the yacht sailing the ocean) is a sign of that times on tv

in Spain he was known for Blue thunder in fact when ask thirty somethings about the tv series with a helicopter they answer Blue thunder and not the more interesting (for me and what I remember) Airwolf

a great actor and leading manfranciscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16141925304481130360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108598388162294499.post-60162321494804285222012-01-29T17:05:59.703-05:002012-01-29T17:05:59.703-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.franciscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16141925304481130360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108598388162294499.post-23047101896582725322012-01-28T11:12:49.684-05:002012-01-28T11:12:49.684-05:00Oh man, I used to love those little TVs. And if a tiny version of a man makes your heart go pitter patter, than yes, he's hot.

I think the first thing I saw Farentino and took notice was in The Cradle Will Fall, which also starred Ben Murphy and Lauren Hutton. It just got released on a DVD boxset with some other Mary Higgins' Clark adaptations.

Thanks for posting!Amanda By Nighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01910620012465381103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108598388162294499.post-91708273998513583242012-01-27T14:33:31.882-05:002012-01-27T14:33:31.882-05:00I totally had the hots for James Farentino when I ...I totally had the hots for James Farentino when I was in high school. I saw the movie Me, Natalie (not a MfTV movie - co-starred Patty Duke) on a 3 inch Sony Watchman TV while I was in bed one night and totally dug him, even on that teensy little screen.Crafty Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06777522080677716294noreply@blogger.com
